I kind of wish our government would just outright lie to us about it, but, even if they did at the federal level, you’d still have those pesky states out there telling the damn truth.

I’m not sure how much I trust any of the numbers we see right now. Even big liberal states like California and New York aren’t reporting as requested CDC guidelines, and it’s pretty that Trump and most GOP state governments want to put a positive spin on things to justify relaxing of controls and get things back to normal.
